Very Poor

The hotel definitely needs a face lift, especially the rooms. The towels were very discolored as well as the beddings. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful, as well as one of the gentlemen helping with breakfast, however some staff seemed demotivated and gave very little service. A lot of the menu items were also not available for order and that was frustrating. We kept having to leave the hotels for meals

The breakfast was lovely, very good and the location was just perfect and very good landscaping.

The bed, beddings and the mosquito net could be newer if you ask me for more comfort and value for money kindly.

Beautiful gardens, clean, charming rooms, excellent, friendly staff, great food. I will certainly return for a longer stay.

The rooms are a little dated, but the decor compensated for this somewhat.

Minimize your expectations, enjoy the grounds.

The grounds are beautiful and well kept. The staff are friendly and ready to stop and listen. I enjoyed the breakfast.

The standard room I got was old. Curtains askew in need of repair. Visible rust on the window frame in the bathroom which also had some cracked tiles. The shower water was not draining well. The sink was old..

Disppointing

I explicitly asked for conference facilites to be set up for two of the days I was there, and I recieved an email saying that it would be taken care of. When I got there I asked every day if the arrangements were made, and was assured that they were made. The morning of my conterence, no arrangements had been made, and there was no place for us to meet, there was no tea or lunch prepared, no projector, nothing. The front office staff simply lied to me about the fact that it was set up. How did I get it fixed? One of my confernce attendees is a very important person in Eldoret, and he went and made sure we got served. I think the hotel manager was embarrassed. But that it what it took to get service. Another that that happened later in the resaturant - I asked for a glass of red wine. I was told that they had neither dry not sweet red wine. But - ten minutes later I saw my waiter serving another person red wine. WhY was I discrimminated against?

Shower gel in the bathroom was empty, the bedsheets had holes in them, the mosquito net is Dusty, the toilet seat was unsecured very well and was very unstable
